Endorsement from C.T. Butler, founder Food Not BombsI have known Dan for over 15 years since he first came to volunteer for Food Not Bombs (even before he was "Dan the Bagelman"). Since then, he has been a steadfast and active member of Food Not Bombs, advocating for the rights of the oppressed, taking nonviolent, direct action at political protests and feeding the hungry on the streets of Boston. I know him to be deeply dedicated to progressive values, a keen networker/community builder, and a man with a big smile and an even bigger heart. I think it is wonderful that he is taking his enormous energy for peace and justice and focusing on running for local political office. I can easily endorse Dan as the candidate who is firmly standing for the progressive values I hold most dear.
